Baptism, Confirmation and Church Membership…
It would be good to hear from anyone who thinks they would be interested in being baptised, being confirmed, becoming a member of the Methodist Church, or renewing their membership. If you are not sure what any or all of those mean then please ask – Ian will be taking the opportunity to explore these in the coming weeks. Joanne Murray is transferring her membership from her previous church in Bournemouth and on Sunday 18th October Colin will formally welcome her as a member of this church.

Thank You
… to everyone who took part in and contributed to the Harvest Festival celebration!

Church Anniversary – Sunday 15th November

On Sunday 15th November we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the present buildings (excluding the chapel which was added later). A special service is planned for 4pm that day with a tea afterwards and we will invite people from other local churches and groups to join us. We will need as many people as possible to join in the organisation and Rachel Hallam is coordinating offers of help with food. Contact Rachel or Ian if you think you can help. It will be a great opportunity for us all to celebrate how the church is developing and to give thanks for a long history of Methodist Church presence in Chesterton.
