Church Review Day
On Saturday 14th May we have our special event for all the adults in the church. Please find all the details on the separate flyer.
The next meeting will be on 19th May at 2.30pm and everyone is welcome. Rev’d Colin Smith will be the speaker. Ask Rosemary Tice for more details.
The Chesterton Festival takes place this year between 18th & 26th June – it will be the 9th year of the event! Full details will be available in the special festival edition of ‘Chesterton News’ which will be published soon.
Our Girls Brigade will have their usual stall at the Funday on Saturday 18th June at Pye’s Rec. The festival steering committee is always looking for volunteers to help with the Funday – ask Ian or Rosemary for more details.
Our church will be hosting the second East Chesterton ‘Community Action Day’ on the second Saturday of the Festival – 25th June. We are working together with the City Council and Hundred Houses Society to provide rubbish skips, recycling skips, a take it or leave it stall, art activities and more. Our job is to offer a base for the activities, to provide refreshments and to provide extra indoor space if there is very wet weather. It would be great to have a number of people to help out for some or all of the day – it starts at 9.30am and finishes at 2pm.
