Appointment of Church Stewards
At the annual church meeting (held jointly with Wesley Methodist Church), it was great to see Alex Kyek and Rachel Hallam appointed as church stewards for Chesterton. Alex and Rachel will be keen to continue our pattern of everyone working together to provide the leadership we need in the church.

Baptism of Emelia
On Sunday 5th June we will welcome Emelia into the family of the church at her baptism in the morning service. We pray God’s blessing on her and her parents – Steph and Dan.

Deacon Maria Howard - Ordination
Some of us will remember Maria, who spent more than a year on placement here at Chesterton whilst she was a student minister. Maria will be ordained on Sunday 3rd July at Westminster Central Hall, London. Please remember Maria in your prayers as she prepares for this. (Note from Ian – I shall be attending the service on the day).

Some of us will have got used to seeing Juliet Windvogel at services and other events in the last few months. Juliet is a student minister from South Africa and has been on a placement in Cambridge. We wish Juliet well as she returns to South Africa over the summer!

Thursday Fellowship
The next meeting will be on 30th June at 2.30pm and everyone is welcome. Judy Wynn will be the speaker. Ask Rosemary Tice for more details.
