**** Latest Update - 12.02.18. ****
Little Music Makers will have a week off for the school half-term.
No meeting on 19th but back on 26th February.
If you are looking for a fun musical morning to share with pre-school children, look no further!
Little Music Makers meets every Tuesday morning in school term time and is led by someone who is paid and has a background in teaching. It's inspired by the knowledge that music is one of the best things for developing young minds. Each week we have a familiar format combining songs, signs, rhymes and actions. We know that children develop their speech skills, number skills, social skills and more through the activities. Most of the time in each session is based around a large circle, sat down, standing and moving.
The roots of the group are in a fabulous charitable organisation called the Chesterton Parent Group and they have been responsible for obtaining grants which have kept this group free for everyone who attends. We occasionally invite donations for equipment and to meet some background costs. We are in a time of transition as the Chesterton Parent Group is being wound down and the church picks up responsibility for the group. The format will remain the same.

Everyone is welcome on Tuesday mornings, just turn up for the session which works best for you. We find that the second session is often busier that the first session :
09:30-10:15am - Session 1
10:15-10:45am - play with instruments
10:45-11:30am - Session 2
Remember, it's free of charge thanks to grant funding from the National Foundation for Youth Music. Please get in contact if you have any questions about the group.
